1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the Preorda platform (“Platform”). It applies to all users, including Buyers, Sellers, and Promoters. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Products and Services
Sellers may not list the following categories on the Platform. This list is not exhaustive; Preorda reserves the right to remove any listing that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, illegal, or harmful.
2.1. Illegal Items
- Products or services that are illegal to sell, buy, or possess in the Seller’s country, the Buyer’s country, or the United Kingdom
- Counterfeit goods or goods that infringe intellectual property rights
- Stolen property
2.2. Regulated and Restricted Items
- Firearms, ammunition, and weapons (including replicas and component parts)
- Explosives, fireworks, and hazardous materials
- Controlled substances, illegal drugs, and drug paraphernalia
- Prescription medications and medical devices (unless properly licensed)
- Tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and vaping products
- Alcohol (unless the Seller holds all required licences)
- Gambling services or products
2.3. Harmful Content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content or services
- Content that promotes or glorifies violence, hatred, discrimination, or terrorism
- Content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors in any way
- Content that promotes self-harm or eating disorders
- Malware, hacking tools, or services designed to facilitate unlawful access to systems
- AI-generated content intended to impersonate real individuals without authorisation
2.4. Deceptive Products
- Products marketed with false health, medical, or scientific claims
- Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing
- Products designed primarily to deceive (fake documents, fake reviews, etc.)
- Services that facilitate academic dishonesty
2.5. Financial and Legal
- Securities, investments, or financial instruments
- Cryptocurrency or NFT sales (unless explicitly permitted in writing)
- Services that facilitate money laundering or sanctions evasion
- Products, services, or transactions involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions
- Debt collection services
2.6. Personal Data and Privacy
- Personal data of third parties (databases, mailing lists, etc.)
- Surveillance equipment or services designed for covert monitoring
- Doxing services or tools
2.7. Other Restricted Categories
- Live animals
- Human remains or body parts
- Items subject to trade embargoes or sanctions
- Any product or service that violates Stripe’s restricted business policies (see Stripe’s documentation for their current list)
3. Prohibited Conduct
All users must not:
3.1. Fraud and Deception
- Create fake accounts, use false identities, or misrepresent your identity
- Place fraudulent orders, including orders with stolen payment methods
- Submit fake reviews or pay for reviews
- Manipulate Campaign progress (e.g., placing orders you intend to cancel to make a Campaign appear closer to its target)
3.2. Abuse of the Bounty Programme
- Self-refer (place orders through your own referral link)
- Use click farms, bots, or automated tools to generate referral clicks
- Mislead potential buyers about the nature of a product or the referral relationship
- Spam referral links in unsolicited communications
3.3. Harassment and Harmful Behaviour
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Post defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory content
- Impersonate other users, Sellers, or Preorda staff
- Stalk or collect personal information about other users
3.4. Platform Abuse
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Platform without permission
- Interfere with the Platform’s operation or other users’ experience
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or APIs in a manner that places unreasonable load on the Platform
- Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications (except through provided seller communication tools)
3.5. Chargeback Abuse
- File fraudulent chargebacks (claiming non-delivery of goods you received, or disputing legitimate charges)
- Systematically file chargebacks as an alternative to contacting the Seller or Preorda support
4. Seller-Specific Obligations
4.1. Accurate Listings
- Campaign descriptions, images, and pricing must accurately represent the product or service offered
- You must not use images you do not have the right to use
- Delivery timelines and shipping costs must be stated accurately
4.2. Fulfilment
- You must fulfil all orders from successful Campaigns within a reasonable timeframe
- You must maintain sufficient rights, inventory, access, or capacity to fulfil successful Campaigns
- You must provide accurate tracking information for physical shipments
- You must deliver digital access promptly upon Campaign success
- You must honour service bookings at the scheduled times
4.3. Communication
- You must respond to buyer enquiries in a reasonable timeframe
- You must cooperate with payment dispute investigations
- You must not use buyer contact information for purposes other than order fulfilment and directly related communications
5. Enforcement
5.1. Investigation
We may investigate suspected violations of this policy. During an investigation, we may suspend your account or restrict your access to certain features. We may cooperate with payment processors, hosting providers, regulators, and law enforcement during investigations where reasonably necessary.
5.2. Actions We May Take
If we determine that you have violated this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning
- Remove specific content or listings
- Remove or disable access to content at our discretion
- Cancel Campaigns or prevent Campaign launches
- Restrict access to specific Platform features or services
- Suspend your account temporarily
- Terminate your account permanently
- Withhold, freeze, or reverse payouts or commissions
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
- Pursue legal action
5.3. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact legal@preorda.com with details of your case. We will review appeals within 14 working days.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it to legal@preorda.com with as much detail as possible, including links, screenshots, and a description of the violation.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users via email. The latest version will always be available on the Platform.
